Bayern champions Bundesliga seventh consecutive year
The 5-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt in the last round on 18 May helped Bayern successfully defend the German football king
Goal: Coman 4 ‘, Alaba 53’, Sanches 58 ‘, Ribery 72’, Robben 78 ‘- Halle 50’
More than a direct competitor Dortmund one point ahead of the curtaindown, Bayern had full control over their fate when they met Eintracht Frankfurt.
And teachers and students Niko Kovac turned the last 90 minutes of the season into a full-fledged football party for themselves as well as nearly 75,000 fans at Allianz.
Winning Frankfurt 5-1, Bayern were crowned with 78 points. This is the 29th Bundesliga championship of this team, and marks the seventh consecutive year they dominated the highest German league.
Victory in the curtain-down season is more sweet with Bayern, when Ribery and Robben then turn the score to 4-1 and 5-1. Those were the last goals of the duo who had been with Bayern for the past decade, before they broke up this summer.
Bayern failed in the Champions League, and will experience a lot of changes in personnel this summer. Three veterans Ribery, Robben, Rafinha definitely leave, and coach Kovac and Javi Martinez, James Rodriguez, Hummels, Boateng, Muller are not guaranteed the future. But in the final game of the season, at home, at least, Kovac’s teachers did not disappoint those who loved them.
The Allianz Arena team took just four minutes to open the score, with a good arrangement – Muller cleaned up Coman to kick the opponent’s net. Although it is impossible to extend the gap in the first half, Bayern still maintain an overwhelming game against a Frankfurt who are also thirsty for points to compete for tickets to the European Cup.
The captain Manuel Neuer was absent because the injury added a bit of distraction at the beginning of the second half and Bayern were equalized in the 50th minute. Chinese midfielder Jokic cleared the bar, but the Halle substitute was in time to kick the Ulreich goalkeeper.
However, that goal is all the guests can do, before they are completely engulfed in the rushing attacks of the host side. Only three minutes after conceding, Bayern re-established Alaba’s goal by 2-1, with a thumping kick after Muller was saved by goalkeeper Kevin Trapp. With exciting momentum, Renato Sanches scored a third goal for Bayern with a shot from a tight angle.
With the advantage of leading 3-1, Bayern in turn launched Ribery and Robben on the field, and the pair of veterans about to leave this quickly contributed to the party of the home team.
Ribery remembers the peak years with a solo phase from the left, overcoming two defenders, then decisively, making the score 4-1 in 72 minutes.
The French midfielder was extremely happy with the goal 124 and was the last table he scored in Bayern shirt, and had to receive a yellow card because of his undressing shirt in excitement.
Robben marked the 307th match and was the last match with Bayern with a close-knit phase, fixed the score of 5-1, after the stretching line of Coman.
